Joanna English & Richard Oliver have 20 years dance experience between them and have been dance partners for the last 5 years.
Joanna trained as an Exotic dance teacher in Philadelphia, USA and went on to teach at Danceworks in London. Joanna partners Richard at modern jive classes and workshops and is an inspiration to all women who wish to dance.
Richard trained as a teacher of modern jive which is a stylish blend of salsa, latin and blues moves which are easy to learn. Richard hosts classes and dance events with Joanna throughout London & Hertfordshire and also judges at regional and national modern jive dance competitions. However, his passion is working with ‘nervous novices’ and developing them into confident dancers. His approach is based on learning through a fun and relaxed environment.
Both Richard & Joanna have a keen sense of humour and therefore you can be sure of an enjoyable learning experience!
